- You do not have to do anything to stay on your plan in 2015. You will be automatically enrolled in your current Aetna Medicare Advantage plan with Medicare Part D drug coverage included. You may review your plan below:
- Your integrated medical and drug coverage means you have one ID card, easy access to benefits and the convenience of Aetna Rx Home Delivery® for medications you use regularly
- If you remain in your Aetna HMO OR PPO plan, you will continue to enjoy the quality benefits you are accustomed to and continue with the health care providers you know and trust*.
- If you decide to explore the OneExchange for a new health plan for 2015, you still may be able to stay within the Aetna family by selecting a new Aetna or Coventry Medicare individual plan (if available in your area).
*PPO: If you use a non-network doctor or hospital, they must be licensed, agree to accept your PPO plan before treating you, and be eligible to receive Medicare payment. HMO: The doctors and hospitals you use must be in the plan’s network, except in emergency or urgent medical situations, or for out-of-area kidney dialysis.
You may remain on your current Aetna plan for 2015, but IBM will not continue to offer the same plan for 2016. So, in the fall of next year, you will be able to choose a new individual health plan for 2016 on IBM’s private exchange. Good news – other Aetna and Coventry individual Medicare plans will still be available on that exchange. OneExchange benefits advisors will be available to help you understand all individual health plan options from all insurance companies available on the exchange. They will also be able to help you find out if your doctors are in the network of various plan options and more.
You will also receive IBM enrollment material in early November.
